Nancy Kovack
Nancy Kovack, a native from Flint in Michigan and was already in the ranks of a University of Michigan student by at the age of 15 and a DJ in the amateur circuit at 16, and graduated from college in 19. Kovack had already won 8 beauty contests by the time she reached the age of 20. She was in New York she began her acting career by playing one of Jackie Gleason's glea girls, as well as in The Dave Garroway (1953), Today (1952) and Beat the Clock (1951). An acting role on stage opened Hollywood opportunities for Kovack who signed a contract to Columbia. She later accumulated quite a few show episodes on television and earned Emmy nominations to honor her role as a guest on Mannix (1967). Kovack is known as the wife of Zubin Mehta from the New York Philharmonic. She has claimed that she was scammed (to about $150 000) from Susan McDougal who was a pivotal figure in Whitewater. Has appeared five times on the satirical show Bewitched (1964) and three of which portrayed Darrin Stephens' humorous former lover Sheila Summers. Her father was an executive at General Motors executive. Zubin Mehta, her husband, lives with her in Los Angeles. She graduated in 1954 from Ann Arbor University of Michigan. Most well-known to the general public because of her appearance in Star Trek's second season episode A Private Little War (1968), as the sexy indigenous medicine woman Nona.
